About me

MY BACKGROUND

I hold a Master’s of Public Health in Biostatistics from the University of Arizona and a doctorate in Quantitative Psychology from the University of Southern California. I am currently an assistant professor at the University of California, Los Angeles in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Health Services Research as part of the Department of Medicine Statistics Core.

Additionally, I serve as an investigator in the Biostatistics, Epidemiology & Research Design Program for the Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) at UCLA, Associate Director for the Easton Center Data Management & Statistics Core at UCLA, and principal statistician for the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Health Administration.

Aside from my research appointments, I am also an instructor for the National Clinician Scholars Program (NCSP), Masters of Science in Clinical Research (MSCR) program, and Training in Neurotechnology Translation (TNT) pre-doctoral training program at UCLA. In addition to formal instruction, I serve as a one-on-one mentor for medical students, residents, and fellows as well undergraduate and doctoral students throughout UCLA.
